GHOST Summons 100 Disciples For Detroit-Area Video Shoot

April 27, 2017

According to The Pulse Of Radio, GHOST has put out a call for 100 extras to show up in the Detroit area on May 6 for what appears to be a video shoot. The post announcing the event stated: "We wish to inform you that GHOST is looking for 100 extras who are available May 6th for four hours. The location is within the city limits of Detroit. We will directly communicate the location to our select 100 the day of the shoot. Please come dressed and ready."

The statement adds: "Clothing is required to be: Church-Going Sunday Clothes, Suits and/or Dress shirts, Dresses and Sunday Hats if you have. Keep makeup and general appearance on the NORMAL side of the spectrum."

Fans are asked to email a photo and/or headshots to the video producer at [email protected], with "GHOST: EXTRAS" in the subject line.

It is not known whether the band is shooting a video for a song from last fall's "Popestar" EP or for something new entirely.

Strangely, Pollstar lists GHOST as playing in Buenos Aires on May 6. The band starts a North American tour in support of IRON MAIDEN on June 3 in Bristow, Virginia.

GHOST has been the subject of intense speculation recently following the dismissal of the band's entire lineup last December by singer/founder Tobias Forge — who performs as Papa Emeritus — and a recent lawsuit filed against Forge by four ex-members, known previously only as Nameless Ghouls.
